SAMEA11308355 - Individual plants/genotypes were grown in a greenhouse for 2 weeks using propagation trays. Leaf segments were placed in 2 ml tubes (in cool ice) and stored at -80°C. The leaf samples were then lyophilized at -45°C to -50°C for 3 days. 20mg of lyophilized sample was homogenized using the GenoGrinder. DNA was extracted using the CTAB protocol. After the precipitation with isopropanol, the collected DNA was washed 2 times with ethanol and then dried at room temperature overnight inside a fume hood. | seqout
